Again a website for a DJ. Site has a dynamic iframe wich resizes by the height of it's content so no scrollbar will be shown. This because there is a mp3 player that has to play without being interrupted while navigating true the site. Header is fully flash based, including animated menu and active buttons.
in the image the text goes on top of your background image rainbow which doesn't feel right. you can use some css and have the text flow around that spot.
that wood panneling is a very nice touch.
have you thought about switching up your system, instead of having your content in an iFrame, move your player to an element pop-up or if you like i frames, one of those... that way it will stay active as your users browse from page to page.
I say this because, they way you have it now. With the content in the iFrame, you make it very difficult for users to bookmark content and come back to it, forcing them to search your content trying to find it again, if they can remember what it was they found. The truth is, people are used to bookmarking a page, and when they come back to it (days, weeks, months later) expect it will be the same exact page they bookmarked.
on less intense level it also messes with people who like to open links in new tabs. although you cant design a site just for those people since its a much smaller portion of the internet, but its something to think about.
i really like the layout design, your navigation is very artistic which is perfect for a DJ website. good luck with your DJing!!!
You're absolutely right. The Dj doesnt have good photos at the moment, so i had to deal with this picture. In the near future he will take a full photo shoot so we can spice up the site.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.

Your Darkest Dreams is a monthly feature devoted to sharing dark photography works from DeviantArt. Often misunderstood as "morbid" or "depressing", Your Darkest Dreams seeks to show this kind of photography in a new way: by showcasing art that is thought provoking, but at the same time unabashedly displays the beauty in darkness.
A former volunteer with the Artist Relations team, `kuschelirmel has always been a wonderful role model within the community.
With a vibrant and eclectic gallery that would make anyone proud, her dedication to providing informative and easy to follow tutorials, journal CSS, and inspirational stock is clearly long overdue for recognition.
